I got my start as an intern at a local studio in my hometown of Modesto Ca. in '97. First, just assisting and then moved up to a recording engineer position. I soon realized that I wasn't going to go far in Modesto and relocated to San Francisco. I hit up a studio where I knew many great records had been made, Coast Recorders (on Harrison St). I quickly proved my dedication and knowledge and was working on major label sessions such as, Acoustic Alchemy, Smashmouth, Mr. Bungle and many more. Sadly, the studio closed a couple years later due to the dot-com boom. After that the house engineer and I set out to build our own studio in the famous Hyde St. Studios and we reopended Studio C.
Since then I've gone on to work with:
- Dan the Automator on various projects including Handsome Boy Modeling School, Rammstein, Deftones, Linkin Park, Franz Ferdinand and The Killers.
- Mixed 35 live concert recordings of The Dead, formerly the Grateful Dead.
- Worked with countless talented bands around the nation.
